Jazz dance is a combination of many different dance moves such as turns, leaps, contractions. and isolations. The style is often danced to lively upbeat music and is a great cardio workout.

Ballet is known for its grace and elegance.

Students will develop proper alignment,

posture, control and balance. Ballet benefits

students taking classes in other styles, as it is

the foundation of all other dance styles

Make music with your feet! Tap is a fun way

for students to develop coordination, musicality

and timing through sounds. Dancers will learn

basic tap steps and rhythmic patterns to all sorts of music.

In this class, we combine elements of acro and hip hop together! It's a great class for beginner dancers wanting to try out both styles.

Musical theatre is a form of theatrical performance that combines songs, spoken dialogue, acting and dance. You'll laugh, you'll cheer, you'll sing; it's a style unlike any other.

Preformance Experience

Give your child the oppurtuinity to preform on stage and at local community events! We put on two separate recitals throughout the year at Lindsay's historic downtown theatre, allowing your dancer plenty of time to shine on the stage!

Gain Confidence

Students at Spotlight are encouraged to channel their emotions and energies into dance, we provide a safe environment for your dancer to feel comfortable to do so. We've seen the shyest students come out of their shell and shine!

Make Exercise Fun

Dance is an amazing way for kids to have fun while learning coordination and staying active. The cardio provided from our dance classes is a fantastic form of exciting exercise for your child.

During the first half of the dance year students will learn and preform holiday dances prepared by their teachers for their friends and family at our Annual Christmas Showcase.

During the second part of the dance season, students will learn choreography for the studio's end of the year recital. Students will receive costumes for each of their dances and will live the star experience preforming in front of a live audience in a historical theatre in the heart of downtown.
